On tuesday evening we landed on swedish ground again. Once again It’s been a fantastic week in the Alps. Third year for us with our summer camp in France. Main focus is to do many hours …with a lot more altitude metres than at home of course!
…and the tough training sessions also! We’ve been really lucky with the weather any have experienced a lot of nice and sweaty uphills on both roller-skis and bicycles. Our 9 days long camp here in Beaufort seems to be as good as earlier years. Thanks a lot for your hospitality “Frise!
…when you’re having the best stuff! Yesterdays MTB-training in pouring rain required a quite clear purpose. But as soon as I finally started it actually was really fun “out there”.
It has almost been four weeks of good training now where the focus has been lowintensiv training.
One week of hard training is over and another is coming. It feels that I am not use to the warm weather conditions at the moment, but it´s realy nice in the sun.
The idea is now to be in full training and the last two days it has become biking, double poling, running, strength and a little more rollerskiing. Well, now I feel that a new season has started up!
This weekends Scandinavian Outdoor Games was a success with a lot of differents event. I joined the “Långa Lugnet” MTB race for 60km on a nice and really tough course on saturday and then the roller ski race “Dalarullen” over 43 km on sunday.
The time goes fast and we have now past half of May. This means it´s also time to higt up the level of training again for a new year.
I have just experinced a nice but quite long trip to Kalmar for participation in a really exciting event “Wing for life World run“! With the statement -Run for those who can´t- 100% of all incomes from the event goes to the research into curing spinal cord injury.
