One of the highlights for the season is completed and done! So maybe it’s not strange there is an “empty” feeling at the moment. In fact I guess it’s quite normal after such an extreme focus before the race and with that kind of discharge!
Well, it was as you can imagine really tough conditions during the race and with that soft and wet new snow. 90 km of fighting for positions! I have never experience a race with som many skiers into the finish. So with that kind of chaos in the last kilometres I’m quite happy I managed to fight my self up to that 7th position! Though the dream was a bit higher…
Well, another good and stable result this season in this so extremely tough Ski Classics cup competitions! Therefore I’m really looking forward for the coming races Birkebeinerrennet and the final in Årefjällsloppet.
For sure me and Rikard also want to thank our incredible and fabulous service team with waxers, “drink-feeders” and “factotum”-persons, who makes our trip possible every year! …and as painless as possible!
Also big congratulations to all of you that did go through with the race and where fighting in extremely tough conditions! …and maybe above all huge praise to the organisation for the heroic work who made the race possible at all!
