Tomorrow is the start of the first race of Ski Classics, La Diagonela here in Switzerland instead of Jizerska in the Czech Republic.
We started our trip on Thursday evening to go to the airport for an overnight stay before flying on Friday morning. Once in Munich , we took the rental car further against the Swiss mountaintops where we now live in the Engadine valley and the village Zuoz about 1700 m. It is also here where the start and finish is for tomorrow.
Since this is at high altitude it will be exciting to see how the body reacts. I dont have that many experiences of racing at this height . Today we tested the skiis and did some training session.
We are now at a truly beautiful alpine landscape with mountens around us , the sun is shining and it’s -1 to -5 degrees.
Now there is some rest fore the afternoon and charge for tomorrow’s race with start at 9.00.
